In antwoord op Valerie. Dear Valerie, glass and stainless steel are the most safe materials there are. Glass is more environmentally friendly to produce, stainless steel does not break which could happen with glass. Glass is see-through which you might like for feeding your baby. I would like to buy glass or rvs.
Is there a difference (quality, safety, etc) between these two materials?

I think that the Medela bottles might be BPA free. I bought a Medela pomp two years ago and at that moment Medela products were BPA free, I think…
From my experience: the Avent bottles containing BPA look like made of glass, they are (very) transparent, while the plastic of the new BPA-free bottles is foggy white…

In antwoord op Aleid. Misschien kun je het ook bij de fabrikant navragen. Avent heeft iig pas sinds kort bpa-vrije flesjes dus die zullen hoogstwaarschijnlijk gewoon van policarbonaat zijn.

Nu heb ik 2e hands flesjes van Medela, Avent en ééntje van Nuby.. Daar zit volgens mij ook nog BPA in!
Omdat ik ze al heb, vind ik het eigenlijk zonde om weer nieuwe te kopen..
Weet iemand of er een bepaalde code op de flesjes zou kunnen staan, waaraan je kan zien of er wel of geen BPA inzit?

In antwoord op Mihaela. thanks for your reaction. We are also constantly amazed about the fact the not everyone learns about these things from their 'kraamhulp' or that the 'consultatiebureau'does not provide more information.
